Most people see early changes in 3–6 months of consistent daily use, with continued improvement through 12 months. Treatments work by keeping follicles active, so results depend on continued use — if you stop, hair loss gradually returns to where it would have been.

Yes. Women of any age can be prescribed Sensitive Spray, a finasteride-free minoxidil spray. Postmenopausal women may also be offered finasteride-containing options, including oral finasteride (Core Tab), at their provider's discretion. Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy are not eligible for treatment.

Hair loss was reported in clinical trials of Wegovy® (about 3% vs 1% on placebo) and Zepbound® (4–5% vs 1%), more often in women. It's generally linked to rapid weight loss rather than the drug itself, usually starts a few months in, and often improves as weight stabilizes. If it doesn't — or if it's revealing thinning that was already starting — a provider can evaluate you for treatment without stopping your GLP-1.

In clinical studies, a small percentage of men (under 4%) reported sexual side effects such as decreased libido or erectile dysfunction, most of which resolved. Less common effects include breast tenderness, mood changes, and depression; the FDA has also issued warnings about mood-related effects, including with topical finasteride. Finasteride can cause birth defects and must not be handled by women who are or may become pregnant. Your provider will review your history before prescribing.

Topical finasteride delivers medication to the scalp and lowers, but doesn't eliminate, the amount that reaches the rest of the body. The FDA has noted reports of the same side effects seen with oral finasteride in people using compounded topical products. Neither route is side-effect-free; your provider can help you weigh them.

Some are, some aren't. Finasteride 1 mg tablets are FDA-approved for male pattern hair loss in men. Topical minoxidil 2% and 5% are FDA-approved for men and women. The sprays and dissolvable strips we offer are compounded medications made by a licensed pharmacy to a provider's prescription. Compounded drug products are not approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality by the FDA, and some ingredient uses in them are off-label.

It can. Minoxidil may cause a brief increase in shedding around weeks 2–8 as resting hairs are pushed out ahead of new growth. It's temporary and a normal part of treatment. Contact your provider if shedding is severe or continues past three months.

It depends on you. Oral options (Core Tab, Daily Strip) are a once-daily tablet or strip and work throughout the body. Topical sprays go directly on the scalp, which some people prefer to limit systemic exposure, but they require a daily application routine. Your provider will recommend based on your history — you can note a preference, and they may adjust it.

No labs are required. You complete an online assessment, upload a photo ID, and a licensed U.S. provider reviews it. Follow-ups are included, and your provider can adjust your plan at any time.

Tell us in your intake — including what you used, for how long, and any side effects. Prior treatment history helps your provider choose a different strength, route, or combination.

Scarring alopecia, alopecia areata, frontal fibrosing alopecia, and hair loss from an active scalp infection need in-person evaluation. If your intake suggests one of these, your provider will let you know and you won't be charged.

If you are denied a prescription by our medical provider, a 100% refund will be issued.

Once your order has been submitted to our medical partners and/or sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment, we will make every effort to field requests for adjustments or cancellations, but cannot guarantee success.

Due to regulations regarding the handling of prescription medication, we are unable to accept returned medication for refund.
