Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, plus brand-name Wegovy® and Zepbound®, prescribed online by licensed U.S. providers. Start with a Starter Bundle to ramp up gradually or continue at your current dose. Every plan includes the provider visit, follow-ups, an injection kit and free refrigerated shipping — no insurance, membership or auto-renewal.

GLP-1 medications mimic a hormone your gut releases after a meal. They slow how quickly your stomach empties, tell your brain you're full sooner, steady blood sugar, and quiet the constant background appetite many people describe as "food noise." The result is eating less without white-knuckling it, which is why GLP-1s produce more weight loss than diet and exercise alone in every major trial.
Compounded semaglutide shares its active ingredient with Wegovy® and acts on the GLP-1 receptor. Compounded tirzepatide shares its active ingredient with Zepbound® and acts on GLP-1 and a second gut-hormone receptor, GIP. In the brand-name pivotal trials, adults lost about 15% of body weight on Wegovy® over 68 weeks and about 20% on Zepbound® over 72 weeks. Both compounded options are once-weekly injections; your provider recommends one based on your goals, history and budget.
Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide contain the same active ingredients as the brand-name pens, prepared by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy for your individual prescription and supplied as a multi-dose vial so your provider can fine-tune the dose. They cost a fraction of the brand price and can include optional additives (vitamin B12, B6 or glycine) that some people find ease early side effects; additive-free formulations are available on every plan. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Wegovy® and Zepbound® are the FDA-approved products in fixed-dose single-use pens, for people who prefer or need them.
Every plan begins at a low dose and steps up over the first weeks, which is how the trials kept side effects manageable. The 3-month Starter Bundles are built around that ramp.
Or 27 or higher with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes, high cholesterol or sleep apnea — who are ready to pair medication with changes in eating and activity.
If diet and exercise stopped moving the scale, or weight has crept back, a GLP-1 addresses the appetite and metabolic signals willpower can't.
Wegovy® and Zepbound® are prescribed online at a transparent cash price when the FDA-approved pen is the right fit.
GLP-1s are not prescribed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, to anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2, or without a provider reviewing your history first. Your provider screens for pancreatitis, gallbladder disease and other medications that affect blood sugar.
How GobyMeds works
Four steps from your first question to medication at your door, with a licensed U.S. provider at every one.
Answer a few questions about your symptoms, goals and health history. No appointment, no waiting room.
A licensed U.S. provider reviews your visit — and your lab panel, where your treatment needs one — and recommends the right option.
If prescribed, you see the full price before anything ships. No membership fees, no hidden costs, nothing auto-renews.
Medication arrives at your door in as little as 2–3 days, with follow-ups and adjustments through your provider.
Weeks 1–4. You start on the lowest dose. Appetite drops within the first injections; mild nausea, constipation or fatigue is common and usually fades as your body adjusts. Eat smaller meals, prioritize protein and water.
Months 2–3. Your provider steps the dose up on schedule. Most people see steady weekly loss by now and notice the "food noise" is quieter. Side effects typically ease as the dose stabilizes.
Months 4–6. Loss continues as you reach your maintenance dose. Your provider adjusts if progress stalls or side effects persist. Hair shedding can appear with rapid loss — our hair loss treatments are designed to run alongside a GLP-1.
Ongoing. Weight returns for most people who stop abruptly, so talk to your provider about maintenance dosing, spacing injections or a lower dose before you stop. Plans never auto-renew; you reorder when you're ready.
Compounded semaglutide starts at $99 a month on the 3-month Starter Bundle ($299 total); single months are $199 and 12-week bundles run $299–$499 by dose. Compounded tirzepatide starts at $133 a month ($399 Starter Bundle), with single months at $299 and 12-week bundles at $499–$599. Wegovy® is $1,695 and Zepbound® $1,399 per month at a transparent cash price.
Every plan includes the online visit, provider follow-ups, an injection kit (syringes and alcohol swabs) and free refrigerated shipping that arrives in as little as 2 days. No insurance, no membership fees, no auto-renewal. If a provider decides treatment isn't appropriate, you're refunded in full.
The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting and reduced appetite, usually mild and worst in the first weeks or after a dose increase. Less commonly, GLP-1s can cause gallbladder problems, pancreatitis, dehydration-related kidney issues, or low blood sugar when combined with other diabetes medication. Compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, Wegovy® and Zepbound® all carry a boxed warning for thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents; they are not prescribed to anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2. Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed U.S. pharmacies and are not FDA-approved.

Compounded semaglutide activates one receptor (GLP-1). Compounded tirzepatide activates two (GLP-1 and GIP), which is why the brand-name trials showed greater average weight loss for the dual agonist: roughly 15% of body weight with Wegovy® (semaglutide 2.4 mg) over 68 weeks and roughly 20% with Zepbound® (tirzepatide 15 mg) over 72 weeks. Both are once-weekly injections with a similar side-effect profile.
Compounded tirzepatide costs more per month. Many patients start with compounded semaglutide and switch if they plateau; your provider can recommend either based on your history and goals.
Your plan price covers the provider visit and follow-ups, the full supply of compounded medication for the plan you choose, an injection kit with syringes and alcohol swabs, and refrigerated shipping to your door. There is no membership fee, no insurance billing and no auto-renewal: you reorder when you're ready.
Most prescriptions are reviewed within a business day. Once approved, your medication ships cold-packed from a licensed U.S. pharmacy and typically arrives in two to five business days, in as little as two days for many addresses. Orders approved late in the week may ship the following Monday so the medication is never left in a warehouse over the weekend.
No. Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are prepared by licensed pharmacies for an individual patient's prescription and are permitted under federal law, but they are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. GobyMeds works only with U.S.-licensed pharmacies and is LegitScript certified. If you prefer the brand-name product, we also offer Wegovy® and Zepbound®.
Nausea, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, indigestion, stomach pain, reduced appetite and fatigue are the most common, and they usually ease within a few weeks of each dose increase. Eating smaller meals, avoiding greasy food and staying hydrated help. Contact your provider about severe or persistent stomach pain, signs of dehydration, or any mental-health changes. Full details are on our safety information page.
Results vary. In the pivotal trials of the brand-name medications, average weight loss was about 15% of starting body weight with Wegovy® (semaglutide 2.4 mg) over 68 weeks and about 20% with Zepbound® (tirzepatide 15 mg) over 72 weeks, alongside diet and exercise. Compounded versions contain the same active ingredient but have not been studied in the same way. Your provider will help you set realistic goals and adjust your dose as you progress.
Some pharmacies compound GLP-1 medication together with vitamin B12, vitamin B6 or the amino acid glycine, which some patients find helps with energy and nausea. If you'd rather have the single-ingredient formulation, choose a plan marked additive-free or tell your provider during your visit; the formulation is confirmed by your provider and the dispensing pharmacy.
Yes. Message your care team at any time. Your provider can slow your titration, hold a dose if side effects are bothersome, or increase it when you're ready. Because plans are one-time purchases rather than subscriptions, you can also move between plan lengths and dose tiers on your next order.
Brand-name pens are manufactured by the original pharmaceutical company, FDA-approved and sold at the manufacturer's list price; GobyMeds adds no markup beyond the pharmacy's cost and the included provider visit. Compounded versions are prepared by licensed pharmacies for individual prescriptions and cost considerably less, but they are not FDA-approved. Your provider can discuss which option fits your situation.
If a GobyMeds provider decides a prescription isn't appropriate for you, you receive a 100% refund of the medication price (lab fees, where they apply, are not refunded). Once your order has been sent to our medical partners or to the pharmacy for fulfillment we will do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations, but we can't guarantee them, and in some cases an adjustment or cancellation carries a $50 medical consultation fee.
Because of regulations covering prescription medication, we are unable to accept returned medication for a refund.
No insurance is needed and GobyMeds does not bill insurance. The price you see is the price you pay, with provider consultation and shipping included and no membership fee.
HSA and FSA cards are accepted at checkout, and we can provide a letter of medical necessity if your plan administrator asks for one.
You answer a short health questionnaire and upload a photo ID. A licensed U.S. provider reviews your history, confirms the treatment is appropriate, and writes the prescription. There is no video call to schedule unless your provider or your state requires one, and follow-up messaging with your care team is included with every plan.
If you're not a candidate, you'll be told why and refunded in full.
